Security > speed. Integrity > hype.
Public docs/utilities may ship with explicit licenses; otherwise all rights reserved.
Private collab is possible under limited-access terms.
Respect the brand and IP. Don’t clone, fork, or reverse-engineer what isn’t licensed for that use.
1) Why the repo isn’t wide open (yet)
NeoShade runs on original frameworks and logic stacks that define its identity. Dumping the full source before it’s hardened invites copy-paste clones, confusion, and security risk. This isn’t gatekeeping—it’s stewardship.
Release criteria (non-exhaustive):
Security-reviewed and hardened against exploitation
Aligned with NeoShade’s moral/ethical intent
Usable in isolation without being easily misrepresented
Open components may be released later (e.g., utilities, training tools, interfaces) when it won’t compromise the core.
Safe-harbor intent: If you act in good faith, avoid data exfiltration/disruption, and give reasonable time to remediate, we won’t initiate legal action for your research. Don’t access user data, pivot laterally, or impact availability.
3) What’s public today
Docs, roadmaps, concept notes
Selective utilities or examples, each with an explicit license (MIT/Apache-2.0/CC etc.) when applicable
If a file or repo does not include a license, treat it as All Rights Reserved.
4) Contribution paths (limited access)
Dev/research partners can request access to specific modules under NDAs or contributor agreements that cover confidentiality, security, and attribution. Write Admin@Neo-Shade.com with a short brief (skills, scope, intended use).
5) IP, usage, and boundaries
Ownership: NeoShade AI, Bruce AI, NeoLegacy, and related code, designs, and media are protected works.
No implied license: Access to this site/repo does not grant rights to copy, distribute, modify, or create derivatives unless a license says so.
No reverse engineering / no lifting the brand: To the fullest extent permitted by law, you may not reverse-engineer, fork, clone, or rebrand unreleased or unlicensed materials.
Trademarks/branding: “NeoShade,” “Bruce AI,” “NeoLegacy,” the Spyder symbol, and related marks are protected. Don’t use them without written permission.
6) Compliance notes
Export/sanctions: Access and collaboration may be restricted by U.S. export and sanctions laws. We may deny access where required.
Jurisdiction: Operated primarily in the United States; disputes governed by applicable U.S. law unless stated otherwise in a specific agreement.
7) Roadmap realism
Plans can change. No promises, delivery dates, or feature guarantees are made here. If something moves from “exploratory” to “supported,” we’ll say so explicitly.
