How to Use This (Single & Compare Mode)
Single Scan (Text A only)
- Copy the main body text (news article, transcript, email, stock thread).
- Paste it into Text A.
- Click Run Single Scan (Text A).
- You’ll get a 20–100 NCI-style score plus 20 signal bands (1–5 each).
Compare Two Sources (Text A vs Text B)
- Paste one side’s narrative into Text A (e.g., bullish thread, CNN article, official statement).
- Paste the other side into Text B (e.g., bearish thread, alternative media, independent analysis).
- Click Compare A vs B.
- Results:
- Side-by-side scores and labels for A and B.
- Key dimensions where one side is 2+ points more manipulative than the other.
Score Ranges – NCI-Style
- < 40: Below NCI danger band. Language isn’t very weaponized (by these signals).
- 40–69: “Truth with an agenda” zone – message may be partly true but heavily framed.
- 70–84: Strong psy-op style pattern. Multiple levers pulled at once.
- 85–100: Extreme narrative engineering. Treat as high-risk propaganda until cross-checked.
Using this with finance & crypto
- Paste newsletters, CT/X threads, “emergency” videos, or Telegram rants.
- Use compare mode: hopium vs doomer on the same ticker/coin.
- High score ≠ “false”. It just means the delivery is engineered: fear, FOMO, tribe, authority, etc.
- Trade off data, not vibes. Use this meter as a sentiment/psy-op detector, not a price oracle.
If your score is high
Slow down. Don’t share or act in the heat of the moment. Look for original sources or opposing viewpoints. Ask, “Who benefits if I believe this and act on it?” If the content makes you feel panicked, enraged, or hopeless, step away, breathe, and re-evaluate before you move.
